  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

This site is monitored daily and may capture information about your visit that will help us improve our service to you.  We treat all your personal information as confidential.  We do this by keeping it on a secure server and complying with international data protection and consumer legislation.

We confirm that the personal information you give us is held in accordance with the registration we have with the data commissioners. We use your information only for the following purposes:

  • To improve how the website works and the services we offer you.
  • To send out website content and advertisements to you.
  • To administer this website.
  • If you consent, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you.

You have the right to ask us to give you a statement about the personal data we process about you, to amend your data, or to delete your information.  You can also withdraw the consent you gave for processing your personal data, or to remove you from our mailing lists.

  • SECURITY AND PRIVACY

Our website has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of information entrusted to us. We use industry standard software to encrypt sensitive data, such as your payment and billing address details. We record IP addresses of people ordering from us to aid fraud prevention and will disclose any information necessary to fully co-operate with law enforcement authorities in investigating suspected lawbreakers.

We collect contact and delivery information (e.g. name, billing address, delivery address and email address).  This information is used to get in touch with you when necessary and to supply products as ordered. For your added security, all payment pages are hosted and processed by Adyen Payment Services which means that we don’t hold records of your payment card details. opulentfragrances.com uses cookies to enable our systems to recognise your browser and to provide personalised features.  Cookies are small text files stored by your web browser and used to personalise your web browsing experience.  Our cookies do not store personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address.

These cookies collect information about how you use our website.  For example, which pages you go to the most. We use this data to optimise our website and make it easier for you to navigate. These cookies are also used to let affiliates know if you came to our website via an affiliate and if your visit resulted in the purchase of a product from us, including details of the product you purchased. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies you. All the information these cookies collect is anonymous.

  • PROMOTIONAL VOUCHER CODES & FREE GIFTS

From time to time we may offer promotional voucher codes for discounts, prize draws or free gifts. Voucher codes will only be valid for the durations stated in our promotional materials.  You can only redeem one voucher code or a single promotional gift per         order.  opulentfragrancesonline.com reserves the right to discontinued      voucher codes          at any            time     without prior  notice.   

Unless otherwise stated promotional voucher codes will not be redeemed against products that are already being promoted. Products in 3 for 2 offers, Brand Sale Events, On Sale, Special Offers, Outlet and Gift Vouchers will be excluded.

Promotional voucher codes will not be redeemable against the following brands: Dior, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Decleor, Estee Lauder, Jean Paul Gaultier, MUGLER, Clarins and Clinique.

FREE GIFTS

Free gifts are offered subject to stock availability and on a first come first served basis. opulentgrangrancesonline.com always keeps a reasonable stock of free items before running a free gift promotion. If your free gift is no longer available, we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible either during checkout, or by email.

  • Our Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your order. If you are not totally satisfied with the products you purchase from us or have simply changed your mind, please return the unopened item(s) to us within 60 days to receive a full refund. Please note, we will not refund any postage you may have paid on the original order.

For reasons of hygiene and safety, we cannot refund or exchange any grooming products or cosmetics that have been removed from the original wrapping or show any signs of having been used – unless they are faulty. For products that are faulty, damaged, of unsatisfactory quality or incorrect, please see separate section here (this should take you to the bit in blue heading).

How to Make a Return

Please package your product(s) securely in the original packaging and return to the collection point you picked it from. You will also need to include a brief letter with your name and address and an explanation of why you are returning the product(s). This will enable us to refund the correct account.

Please follow these instructions:

  • Please use the return slip sent with your order
  • If you misplace the return slip, use a blank piece of paper or envelope.  On it, please write ‘Freepost OPULENT FRAGRANCES (OPULENT FRAGRANCES must be in capitals).  Underneath this write United Kingdom, then put the paper on your parcel, concealing your personal information. You do not need to write anything else on the return label apart from: Freepost OPULENT FRAGRANCES and United Kingdom. Then take your parcel to the collection point you picked it from.

For customers outside Uganda, we are unable to offer a freepost address for returns at this stage. Delivery charges incurred will not be refunded. Your statutory rights are not affected.

FAULTY, DAMAGED, UNSATISFACTORY QUALITY OR INCORRECT ITEM RECEIVED

We will do our best to ensure that your product(s) arrive correctly and in perfect condition. But sometimes mistakes occur, or items are damaged in transit. Please check your product(s) on receipt and report any faults or damages to us as soon as possible. The sooner you tell us, the easier and quicker it will be to resolve the issue for you.  If you receive damaged, poor quality or incorrect products, the following will apply:

  • Within 30 days of receipt of the goods: we will offer you a full refund, including any postage you paid or if you prefer and the product is still available, we will send you a replacement.
  • After 30 days but within 6 months of receipt of the goods: we will offer you a store discount equivalent to the value you spent.
  • After 6 months of receipt of the goods: Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, store discount or a partial refund as a good will gesture.

  • TRACKING AND ADVERTISING BASED ON YOUR VISIT

Opulent Fragrances works with Google Analytics and Criteo to display adverts as you browse the web, based on your behaviour on our website. We try to ensure that you see only information that is relevant and helpful to your buying experience. If you would like to tailor how these ads are targeted, you can do so here. If you would rather opt out of having your data collected for this purpose, install this free plugin.

We also work with a company called Redeye so that we can make recommendations to you based on your activity on our site. If you would not like this data to be collected you can contact us at any time and we’ll be happy to remove you.

  • ACCOUNT CANCELLATIONS

If you want to close your account with us, please contact our customer service team who will organise this for you. Once you cancel your account you will no longer be able to shop online or receive emails from us. You can re-register later using the same email address, however any historic order information will not be available to view.

You are responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, notify our customer service team immediately by emailing customersupport@opulentfragrancesonline.com or calling us on +44 (0) 2076 273 553.

  • VAT & SALES TAXES

You can shop with confidence at opulentfrangrancesonline.com knowing that the price you see, is the price you pay.  Don’t worry, sales taxes & VAT on orders dispatched to Uganda and the rest of Eastern Africa are all pre-paid by us.

  • WHOLESALE

We are an online retailer selling direct to Customers and not a wholesaler. We do not sell large quantities of individual items. Consideration can be given to wholesale if you are a trader, or potential operating partner, who will purchase across the range i.e. small quantities of many products.
